About Me

As a professional photographer I see things from many different perspectives: an eye to the commercial world, a fascination with beautiful scenery, and a love of getting to know people while photographing them all bring many things to my image making.

My work encompasses many genres, including weddings and partnerships, special events, architectural, corporate, and documentary photography. Ultimately my images are about relationships and the beauty in our world. If you are looking for a photographer I'd be delighted to talk with you.  Getting to know people is what makes my work happen!

While making photographs occupies a significant portion of my time I also teach at the University of Kentucky.  There I work in the Photography program teaching Digital, Black and White, and Alternative Process photography.  I also teach Visual Studies in the Art History program. I hold a BFA in Applied Photography, an MFA in Photography, and am just completing my MA in Art History too!  For my educational and fine art website, visit www.dnmartin.com
